Public health insurance

Hi,


My temporary residence visa (Permis de Sedere) has been issued and I understand I need to register with the health authority in Bucharest.



Can anyone tell me if that means I can use the public health system?

I bought low level emergency insurance to apply for the residency, because I thought I wouldn't have access, so I'm a little confused.


Please help.
